Mallorca Sailing Regatta
The Mallorca Sailing Regatta is a truly classic team activities. Almost every day we have very good conditions for sailing. The reason is the thermal wind, that picks up at noon and produces a great breeze for sailing. Get active together with your colleagues and steer a sailing yacht under supervision of a professional skipper. Show your competitors, that you have the fastest boat.
We usually start the Mallorca Sailing Regatta in Palma, as we have here the biggest range of modern and well maintained boats in several sizes. Normally we use boats of 14-15 m length. If your hotel is close to the water, then we can start the regatta directly in front of your hotel. Your participants will be shuttled from the coast to the boats via zodiac. This can be used as a great surprise for your participants.
Your Mallorca Sailing Regatta starts with a detailed safety briefing by the skipper. He explains the boat, the technical equipment, basic commands, distribution of work and manoeuvres. But still, the professional skipper can steer the boat at any time completely alone. After leaving the harbour the crews start to warm up with some first manoeuvres before starting the Mallorca Sailing Regatta. All skippers communicate via radio with each other. This way we will also give the start signal for the regatta. After a while we can see, which boats use a good team work and can adapt quickly to the changing conditions of the wind and the sea.
At noon the boats can come together in a small bay and anchor together. Here we can celebrate the winning team and have lunch together with a cold beer. If you want you can enjoy bathing in the sea, too. In the afternoon we sail back to Palma at a relaxed pace.
The duration of your Mallorca Sailing Regatta is between 3 – 5 hours.
